Come spend the evening with us at Misty Meadows! We'll have tea for you to enjoy, plants walks around the garden to become more familiar with the plants we have in our area, and it's a great chance to bring the community together and have a time of sharing with others on the herbal path. PLUS! The shop will be open late so it's a chance for those of you who can't make it here during the week days to pick up whatever you may need.
We will also be offering a Reiki Clinic during this time that is first come first serve (we'll have a sign up sheet) and is a suggested donation of $10. The sessions will last 15-20 minutes and are open to anyone seeking peace, wellness, and relaxation. If you are unfamiliar with what Reiki is, a description is below.
If you would like to volunteer as a practitioner during the reiki clinic please email Wendy @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Reiki is a hands-on healing art.
The practitioner acts as a channel to bring the healing energies of the Universal Life Force to the recipient. The energy is taken into the body where it works to re balance the seven primary chakras or energy points along the spine. As this happens, the body is now more able to do its own healing work.
No manipulation is involved. Clients remain fully clothed other than shoes. Reiki has no religious affiliation, although clients often have spiritual experiences with Reiki. Reiki does not interfere with medications you might be taking.
Reiki is relaxing. It can help with many issues including anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, addiction, common colds, headaches, back pain, emotional trauma. Reiki does no harm.
We invite you to join us on the following dates to experience Reiki for yourself on Thursday July 26th at 6:30pm!
