Sights and Sounds of the Woods in Spring!
Saturday April 16th 1:00pm - 3:30pm
With Marilyn Gilmore
Misty Meadows can help bring the wonders of nature to your child. Every third Saturday of the month we will hold Natural History Tours through the grounds and woodlands of Misty Meadows. There is no age restriction and the walks are free! Trails are stroller wide and well maintained.
This months walk will focus on the sights and sounds of spring during the early Spring months. Spring has finally arrived and the woodland animals are in a hurry to get growing families ready for the summer ahead! Birds have nested and are settling down to raise their young. We can see the trees bursting with life from the animals traveling their branches, to the buds that will grow into the foliage we all know and love. Join us for this beautiful walk in the woods and help bring the joys and mysteries of the Wild Wood to your children.
Please call ahead if there is rain or inclement weather. Please remember water (no disposable plastic water bottles, please) chemical free insect repellent (we have a lovely all natural one in the shop) and to dress comfortably and weather appropriate!
