Most of us are aware of what astrology is and what “sun sign” we are. We may know, based off our birth date, whether we are a Gemini, Cancer, Leo, etc. However, many are not aware that these sun signs only paint part of the picture of who we are. There are many planets that have an influence on us and when you begin to understand and look deeper into your chart, you will find immense complexity. In this course, we will learn how to access and read this complexity to better understand ourselves and those around us.
I’ve found that while there’s so much information about astrology available it can be incredibly difficult to find the best way to study it on your own. I know when I first started out, I usually felt more confused about it than before I started. As I took class after class from multiple teachers and read countless books, I found that while there were teachers that broke up the components of the astrological chart into individual pieces, it was done without utilizing correspondences people could resonate with; a way for people to relate the information they were learning to something they were familiar with. So that’s what I’ve been working on: a course in beginner astrology that takes the individual components and presents them in a way that allows people to connect with them beyond memorizing key words or general descriptions. I would like to move you beyond understanding simply how you may be likely to behave, towards understanding why you may behave the way you do.
Over the 8 weeks, I will guide you carefully and thoroughly along the astrological path. We’ll look at this amazing practice piece by piece, having discussions and really getting to know each planet, sign, and element of the zodiac.
At the end of the class, you will have all the basic information necessary to read your natal chart and have the confidence to progress on your astrological journey.
You will need to provide your EXACT Date, Time and Place of Birth. Your natal chart will be run for your use in class. If you don’t know this information you can contact the city hall of the location where you were born. Exact time of birth is crucial for running an accurate natal chart. If you encounter any issues with this, contact the teacher ASAP to explore options.
