Misty Meadows Kids Camp is a day camp for children ages 6 to 11 to explore and grow by interacting with the land and all its teachers. With a focus on nature, fun, learning, and experiences, this camp helps create opportunities for greater connection with the environment as well as the unique spirit of self. Children will explore the forest, meander through gardens, splash in puddles, and connect with the natural rhythm of the earth. Each day children are encouraged to be creative, as they experience and develop their connection with nature through activities and awareness. Days are filled with activities and learning that ebbs and flows with the energy current of the group. Kids Camp is led by Valerie Woodard, an Herbalist, Mother, Holistic Practitioner, and Misty Meadows Team Member.

SESSION 1: July 8-12,2024

SESSION 2: August 5-9, 2024

CAMP HOURS: 10 am-3 pm daily

AGE: 6-11

MIN/MAX NUMBER OF CAMPERS: 4-12

COST: $250 per session. Cost includes all activities and supplies.

The agenda will vary from camp week to the next. There will be daily themes to encourage excitement and enthusiasm for learning through exploration:

Each day will begin with an opening circle creating intention as we move through the day. Children are encouraged to participate freely and at their own comfort level. Guidance will be provided as we move through each portion of the day. We will break daily for lunch at noon and a snack at 2:30. There will be water available for refilling bottles throughout the day. Please apply sunscreen to your child before arrival if wanted/needed.

Each child will need to bring: a lunch and a snack along with a reusable water bottle, bag, backpack, or basket that can be comfortably carried for adventuring, a hat, and a change of clothes.

Please Note:

Upon checkout, you will be prompted to fill out a registration form and liability waiver. These must be completed for each child attending camp, for each session that they attend.

The Misty Meadows staff cannot administer medications to your child.

A Parent of Guardian must be available to pick up your child in the event of emergencies including but not limited to dangerous weather conditions, illness, injury or behavioral issues or any other situation deemed by our staff to be unsafe or inappropriate for your child, other children or our staff.

Misty Meadows Cancellation Policy Applies

All adults must show a valid Photo ID at the time of pick up. ID needs to be shown every day.

Children may only be picked up by adults listed on the waiver.

Children may not be dropped off before 9:45 am and must be picked up no later than 3:15pm

Late pickup will incur a $25 charge per 15 minutes.
