Judy has completed certification in Advanced Herbal Studies and Clinical Practice. She has studied herbal medicine with Wendy Snow-Fogg and has completed all three levels of training. She studied on her own for many years prior to her formal education. Judy brings with her over 30 years of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant in family medicine. She has a strong understanding of dis-ease and how it affects the body. Studying herbalism has helped her connect the dis-ease process with the mind and spirit as well.
Judy is also the medicine maker at Misty Meadows. She is a member of the American Herbalist Guild and is a Green Fire Reiki practitioner. Her special interests include gut health. Modern research on this topic is uncovering many links to gut dysbiosis and chronic disease. Judy can help you find your way to a healthy gut microbiome and to overall wellness.

Wendy is the founder of Misty Meadows and Senior Herbalist with 30+ years of experience. She created and directs the herbal studies programs at Misty Meadows, does public speaking, and guest teaches at numerous herbal venues. She is the co-creator of Green Fire Reiki™. She is a member of The American Herbalist Guild, New Hampshire Herbal Network, National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy, Northeast Herb Association, United Plant Savers and The American Botanical Council. She is also an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church.
Wendy's keen listening skills, clarity and intuitive abilities play a major role in helping clients work through the discovery process that is an integral part of everyone's healing. Her scope of practice includes herbalism, Reiki (Usui, Shamballa, Karuna, Green Fire™), aromatherapy, flower essences, reflexology, muscle testing, facial, tongue and pulse diagnosis, Craniosacral Therapy and spiritual counseling.
The story of your life tells the story of your health. Your life experiences have led you to where you are today. Your thoughts have manifested as your physical health. When you meet with me, I want to hear your story and your perception of why you’re feeling unwell. I’ll ask lots of questions about you, your health, relationships, work, etc. I may look at your tongue, face, and hands and listen to your pulses.
When you come in for an herbal consultation:
~Your initial visit will take between 1-2 hours. You are welcome to record your appointment or bring an advocate to take notes for you.
~Please do not bring pets or young children to your appointment.
~Clients under 18 must be accompanied to their appointment by a parent or legal guardian.
~Do not wear face makeup or nail polish. Avoid brushing your teeth or tongue 2 hours prior to the appointment.
~Bring with you all bottles and packages of medications, supplements and over-the-counter drugs you take.
~Please bring any lab reports from the last 2 years. You can get these from your primary care physician’s office.
~Bring a list of any allergies you have.
~Bring a list of any surgeries you have had, including dates.
~Bring a list of the names, addresses, and phone numbers of any doctor, nurse practitioner, herbalist, acupuncturist, chiropractor, osteopath, massage therapist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or other health care practitioner you've seen in the last two years.
~You are welcome to bring an advocate with you; it's often very useful to have someone who knows you well help with answering questions and with going over points of our visit with you when you get home.
NOTE: Misty Meadows Herbal Center is an herb school, registered with the American Herbalist Guild and is a NH Dept. of Education licensed Post-Secondary Career School. Please know that a student intern may be observing during your appointment. Confidentiality is assured, but if you would prefer not to have a student intern present, please state that when making your appointment.

Ear Candling Treatments - Currently Not Available
Ear candling or coning can be useful if you've suffered a sinus infection or chronic sinusitis, excessive ear wax, hearing loss, headaches, or allergies. It has proven very useful for people whose jobs expose them to excessive dust, dirt, wind, or loud noise. Ear candling is not appropriate if you've had a ruptured ear drum. You will be asked to verify in writing that your ear drums are intact and that to the best of your knowledge you have never had a ruptured ear drum.

Energy healing sessions & Reiki consultations
Valerie Woodard- Inner Labyrinth Healing
Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to unblock and remove stuck energy within the chakra fields. By breaking through these energetic blocks, the body’s ability to heal itself is stimulated, the immune system response is activated, resulting in improved energy flow and a balanced energy system. Energy healing is known to be a flow of beneficial energy between the practitioner and the client that acknowledges dis-ease at its deepest level. The practitioner encourages the opening of the energy fields of the client so the client can then release blocks, clear traumas, and release negative energies from withing.
My intention is to help guide others on their path to healing. Providing a safe, open and compassionate environment to support each client with their personal work and healing journey. Sound healing with Quartz Crystal singing bowls brings vibration and sound to the space of healing. Utilizing crystal bowls, creating a bath of sound, you will experience the vibration and sound washing over you and supporting balance within all aspects of the body. When combined with Reiki, or on its own, sound healing offers deep vibrational healing within the deepest levels of self. Reiki can be provided hands on, or hands free, depending on personal preference. Reiki may be received lying down or sitting up based on the physical requirements of the client. The healing effects of Reiki will not be enhanced or restricted with either option. The client will remain fully clothed for the session except for the removal of shoes.
Green Fire Reiki incorporates the healing power of plants and plant spirit into traditional Usui Tibetan Enhanced Reiki. Healing sessions with Valerie are available in focused singular modality, or incorporating of several healing modalities, to create an individualized healing experience. Reiki healing sessions will begin with crystal gridwork and intuitive insights using divination cards. Sessions range from 30 to 90 minutes but can also include other modalities for sessions up to 2 hours. Reiki is a relaxing healing art that allows the practitioner to channel Universal Life Force Energy for the client, balancing the major energy centers (Chakras) throughout the body, making it easy for the body to heal itself. Along with being extremely relaxing, Reiki is helpful in addressing emotional and spiritual imbalances causing problems in one’s daily life. Common results from a Reiki session include but are not limited to: increased relaxation, lessened anxiety, lower level of pain, inner peace, increased feeling of wholeness and centering within oneself. Energy healing balances the mind, body, and spirit. I will share with you any observations which most often include energy blocks, as well as any other imbalance I have felt. It is common for angels, spirit guides, plants and other spirit helpers to come into the session on your behalf and give information which I will pass on to you.
